Our Resin Bound Driveways in Kent

RESIN & BOUND DRIVEWAYS

HOW IT WORKS

•  Excavate the whole area to 300mm below the finished drive level.

•  To lay a heavy duty geo-textile membrane to the area and fully compact a MOT type 3 permeable subbase.

•  To supply and install a 30mm base course over a structural reinforcement mesh.

•  To lay 1-5mm resin bound surface, to the depth of 20mm. This will be troweled by hand to a smooth finish. Once again, over another layer of structural mesh.

BENEFITS

• Low maintenance, weed resistance, easy cleaning, no loose stones.

• Permeability: Resin-bound surfaces are porous, allowing water to drain naturally through the surface into the ground.

• Slip resistant, the textured finish provides excellent traction for vehicles and pedestrians, even in all condition and the smooth surface aids mobility for wheelchairs, pushchairs and bicycles.

• Enhanced kerb appeal, potentially increasing market value by 5-10%.

• Durable and strong, lasting up to 25 years with proper care. It is resistant to extreme weather conditions like heat, snow and frost.

MATERIALS

Our resin bound driveways are made up of an aggregate, quartz or stone, coloured or natural, combined with a strong polyurethane resin to ensure you get a surface that
