To design a contemporary low maintenance garden for the whole family. A sleek and modern space to relax, entertain and play. To incorporate subtle lighting to create depth and up light some specimen trees.
The garden was predominantly a blank canvas, except for an area of artificial lawn, they wanted to keep for their daughter's play area.
They also wanted to keep an area of lawn. The design needed to successfully allow both areas of natural lawn and artificial lawn to sit well together.
We used Brett Eden Limestone porcelain paving in Fawn, to create subtle and soft textures, with a low maintenance and hard-wearing finish.
A London Stone timber effect porcelain was used under the new pergola, to define the seating area and create a change in texture and colour.
Venetian fencing was installed on either side of the garden to create a contemporary boundary. Three down lighters will light the new outdoor kitchen area and the Venetian fencing provide a contemporary backdrop.
Both lawns are edged with the Brett Eden porcelain limestone paving. This creates a clean and contemporary aesthetic.
The lighting creates atmosphere and up lit trees create depth and night time focal points.
